One of the most exciting circuits in NASCAR is Talladega Superspeedway and that is where the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series chase drivers will go to next in the final race in the round of 12 in the series chase.

Talladega, where anything can happen, can either end well or upsetting for the remaining ten drivers looking to join Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick in the round of eight.

Four drivers will be eliminated after this Sundays race for the Hellmann’s 500 at the superspeedway. At the moment, Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin and Austin Dillon are on the verge of becoming eliminated from the chase as they are the bottom four in the chase standings.

Elliott will most likely need to win in Sunday’s race as he is 25 points behind Joey Logano who holds the cutoff spot in the standings in eighth.

Keselowski is one of the favorites to win at Talladega as he has four wins at the superspeedway. The 2012 Sprint Cup champ also won the last two restrictor plate tracks, including the spring race at Talladega for his second win of the season.

Hamlin and Dillon can race their way into the next round with a great finish and some bad luck from the other chase contenders.

Chase drivers Matt Kenseth, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Kurt Busch and Martin Truex Jr. are all safe of moving into the next round, but going to a track where anything can happen, no one is safe. Kenseth, highest in the standings without a win in this round, is 29 points clear from being in the bottom four, but that can easily change in a matter of seconds while racing at Talladega.

Everyone will try to avoid of being caught in the “big one” and in hope of finishing the race with their car still intact. Which of the ten remaining chase drivers will come out of Talladega safely and move into the round of eight to keep their chase run going for another three races.

The race will be shown live at 2:00 PM EDT on NBCSN this Sunday, Oct.23.
