It is finally that time of year, Masters weekend is here.

A week that is full of celebration from the practice rounds, to the champions dinner, to the par 3 contest which was unfortunately cancelled, Masters week brings out the a golf tradition like no other as they say.

The field as you would expect is loaded with the best of the best. Defending champion Danny Willett will be joined by Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, Jason Day, Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson and the rest of the world’s best.

The biggest question mark is world number one Dustin Johnson. His status of playing is in question after he took a hard stumble down the stairs at his rental house in Augusta.

Johnson apparently hit his lower back hard, leading to his questionable status.

As for the course, Augusta National is arguably the most famous course when it comes to golf. Up there with St. Andrews, TPC Sawgrass, Torrey Pines, every true golf fan knows what Augusta National means.

From Amen Corner, to Magnolia Lane, the Hogan Bridge, and the “Big Oak Tree”, the course is filled with plenty of sites.

As for the biggest difficulty for the players, it is no doubt the greens. Arguably the fastest greens in the world, it usually takes some of the best putters in the world to win the tournament.

Prediction this week is Jordan Spieth. His collapse on the 12th hole Sunday is something that everyone will remember, but he still has three top two finishes in the last three years. He clearly has a great feel for this course and the greens, do not expect that to change this year.

As for hole 12, that will be interesting to watch when he steps on that tee box tomorrow, there will be a weird buzz going on around the crowd, but if Spieth sticks the green, which he should, all will be forgotten as a new Masters will be starting.

The sleeper pick is Kevin Kisner. He is a decent putter, and if he can gain some strokes putting this week, he can find his way in the hunt comes Sunday.
